After an early breakfast, the trek begins with a gradual ascent through lush green meadows, rhododendron forests, and snow-clad trails (in winter). The first major stop is Tungnath Temple, the highest Shiva temple in the world and a significant pilgrimage site. After paying homage and soaking in the spiritual energy, the journey continues to Chandrashila Peak. After spending some time at the summit, capturing breathtaking views, and enjoying the serenity, you will begin your descent back to Chopta. Upon arrival, relax, enjoy a warm meal, and share stories around a cozy campfire.
On your last day, you have the option to visit Deoria Tal, a serene high-altitude lake just a short trek from Sari Village. Known for its crystal-clear reflections of the Himalayan peaks, this peaceful spot is a must-visit for nature lovers and photographers.
